I've been taking dance summer camp with Ms. Pletell for the past three years and love it because I get to meet new people and learn new dances. I love ballet as it helps me prepare for other dances. I love he year end show because the main character gets to sing, dance, and act their parts, everybody takes part in the show. All the costumes are nice. Hi! I’m Isabella, I am 13 years old and I am PROUD
to say that I am a dancer at Vanessa Plettell Dance Studio! This dance
studio has not only given me a place to dance, after my past dance studio
had shut down and, it has not only given me a remarkable director Vanessa
Plettell- Chevrier and amazing teachers such as Shaye Reinhardt who believe
in me to push myself harder to accomplish more difficult and complicating
dance steps, but the most extraordinary thing that Vanessa Plettell Dance
Studio has given me is outstanding schooling that made me become the
beautiful dancer that I am today.

                The first day that I arrived at Vanessa Plettell Dance
Studio I was over whelmed with the amazing dancers in my jazz class.  They
were doing full splits, there leg extensions were at 90 degrees or even
higher and mine was at lets say at 40(to be nice) and the amazing just kept
coming when I had reached ballet. In my ballet class all the students were
pulled up, their weight placement was correct and mine was WAY back, but I
was so confident that when I got to my tap I would blow my class away
because at my past dance studio I had won awards for tap because I would hit
the floor so hard and continue to hit it hard to create beautiful sounds
yet, I didn’t realize that at my past dance studio they weren’t challenging
me. So when I had reached the tap class I had realized that they were doing
very advanced steps compared to what I had been doing at my past dance
studio. Yes, I still hit the floor as hard as I always did but hardly any of
my sounds were there.

                I needed help and Vanessa Plettell- Chevrier the director
and also one of my many superb teachers had realized my difficulty in the
class but she didn’t place me in a level that was too easy for me, what
would I have learned there. Instead, she believed in me to accomplish what
all my other fellow dancers in my class had been doing.  Vanessa pushed me
physically and emotionally in dance and she never gave up on me, she never
got frustrated with me and she was always there for me.  Vanessa
Plettell-Chevrier is a remarkable dance teacher, director and dancer who has
faith in every one of her students and that means the world to me. She finds
all her students weaknesses including mine and she turns all those
weaknesses into strengths with her amazing and supportive teaching
strategies.  A dance teacher like Vanessa is very hard to find today. Take
my word for it, three years ago at my past dance studio wasn’t challenging
me like at this dance studio. Yet, Vanessa doesn’t just make dreams
possibilities she makes dreams of becoming astonishing dancers, realties.

                    I am proud to say that I have improved SOOO much in
dancing ever since I’ve reached Vanessa Plettell Dance Studio.  I now have
correct weight placement in ballet, and my legs can go to 90 degrees (my
next goal is to get them even higher), my tap has never been so good and I
have my splits.  There is so much more that I have improved on since I’ve
reached this just amazing dance studio. I know each year I will keep
improving!  I hope from my story that I will encourage your toddlers,
children or even teens to come to this astonishing dance studio.  This
testimonial is not only to encourage everyone to come here, but it is to
thank my shining director Vanessa Plettell-Chevrier and my great teachers
such as Shaye Reinhardt on giving me such a wonderful experience and I know
